Day 3

C: Commitment. Yeah, I suck at things like this. I was going to try to do one every day but I can't keep myself disciplined enough to do it every day.

This also makes me a little nervous because if I can't stick with this then how am I going to manage Nanowrimo? Oh well.

Went pumpkin picking today. Fun stuff. Pumpkin trains, corn maze, and a pyramid made of hay bales. :D Then we made the best dinner ever at Tim's dad's house. All comfort food: chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, mac and cheese, stuffing and salad. My tummy is still all happy and warm.

I need to come up with a plot line. Is anyone an expert on writing mysteries?

Day 2

B: Blogs. Is it weird that I read blogs and those people probably have no idea? Not just blogs, but ones that have been written by people I know and probably don't remember me. I dunno, I just like hearing about people's lives. I wonder if anyone I know reads my blog that I don't know of? *shrug*

I'm trying to decide if I want to do Nanowrimo this year. I always want to, but especially this year it'll be hard to get back into the writing kick... :/

Day 1

A: Appetite. It seems like it's that time of year where eating just always sounds good. For some reason the weather just makes you crave that full tummy feeling. Lately all I've been watching is the Food Network. I'm not sure if it's been helping or making matters worse!

Haha. That's all I've got.

So I've decided I'm going to try to write about a different, random, alphabetical topic every day. Lol. I'm weird.

Almost Forgotten

So I just saw a picture of a certain guy and got all pissy and just wanted to rant but I suppose I'll resist the urge. For now.

So Grant's writing project "Mazillion Pancakes" is going really well! It's such a fun idea! I need to start working on my character for the real thing.

Tim and I might go see Quarantine tonight. Scarrrrry.

I want to carve pumpkins soon! I'm tempted to make either a Mac pumpkin (the apple logo) or a Twilight pumpkin. Also I want to be Princess Peach for Halloween.

Love

So I watched the Sex and the City movie this morning. Now first of all, let me get this straight: I don't follow the show. I don't know anything about designers or fashion. I have no desire to be a single woman living in New York. I don't even know what possessed me to watch it other than curiosity, but I did. And honestly, it was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. It was honest. It was funny. It made me think. And it had one of the MOST heartbreaking scenes I think I have ever watched. I have a lot more respect for Sarah Jessica Parker now. I guess I was just very impressed.

Production

So lately I've gotten into production photography. I think this could be an area I could do really well with. Like taking pictures of food, jewelry, products... stuff like that. I did some trial pictures of some cocktails the other day for my friend and that was my first attempt. Tonight I made a light box which made things go smoother, but I still don't have enough of the right kinds of lighting. I did take one shot that I really liked though:



It's an old camera Tim's grandpa gave to me. I'm really liking this kind of stuff though so hopefully I can get some better lighting!

Foodless

I got food poisoning last weekend and now I have a cold. It's raining outside and I don't want to get out of my pj's to go get something to eat. Since we've been working on the house it's messy and we haven't gone grocery shopping in a while.

I'm glad it's raining though. I really need to start writing more. I need to finish my character description. It's due Saturday night. I thought I was going to have it done ages ago. :/ Ok. I'll work on that.
